Asana (Physical Yoga practice), such as:
-Hatha, holding poses and focusing on our breath, stretching and strengthening.
-Katonah Style techniques
-Vinyasa Flows: (cardio-centered practice/ one breath, one movement)
-Gentle/Restorative: practices focusing on slowing the body down to relax, heal, and recover.
-Yin: Practices involve passive poses held for an extended period to target deep connective tissue.

Pranayama (yogic breath Exercises) is the practice of breath regulation. Purposely inhaling, exhaling, and holding the breath in a specific sequence strengthens the lungs and core and cultivates feelings of calmness or energizes the being.

Meditation: a practice of holding concentration/directing attention. (any action where you are harmoniously connected to an object)

Mantra Recitation (a tool for the mind): a yogic tool that aids in the refinement of the mind, focusing our attention on the sounds, words, and meanings that we are reciting, repeating, or chanting.

Journal Prompts (optional): Create a new dialogue with ourselves that aids in practicing self-compassion, awareness, or purging our inner critic.
